Do I need to book an appointment every time I go to Youth Employment Services?

As a registered client you can come to Youth Employment services anytime without an appointment to make use of our other free resources.
Will you give me a job?
No, Youth Employment Services is not a placement/temporary agency. We can help by providing FREE resume and cover letter development, job searching assistance, practice interviews, and training opportunities in order for you to be more successful in job searching. We often partner with employers to help them with hiring events. This means that YES participants have the opportunity to interview with employers without applying the traditional way - it is an exclusive opportunity with the employer! All hiring opportunities are posted to our News/Events page, as well as our Facebook.
What other resources do you offer?
At Youth Employment Services we have a variety of free resources including:
-
Computers with internet access for online job search and job applications.
-
Information pillars that include up to date job postings, volunteer opportunities and housing information.
-
An Application Centre that includes application forms and information on how to apply to over 150 different companies.

Every Monday and Thursday we feature our “Top 10”. This is a list of full time and part time entry level jobs in Winnipeg that are located on a bus route.
